The Big News
"Crude palm oil excluded from Indonesia export ban" from Reuters: The Agriculture Ministry said on Monday that crude palm oil shipments would be excluded from a planned palm oil export ban, according to a copy of an official letter sent to local government leaders. The letter, which was verified by a ministry official, said the ban would however include refined, bleached and deodorized (RBD) palm olein. It was still unclear on Monday whether products such as RBD palm oil and palm stearin would be affected. Though an exemption of crude palm oil from the export curbs will be positive for global markets, the majority of Indonesia's palm exports are in the form of processed oils that remain affected by the ban.
"Starting April 28, 2022, the Transportation of Goods is Prohibited from Passing on the Denpasar - Gilimanuk Road Section" from Tribun Bali (Indonesian): "Considering that the potential for community movement during Lebaran homecoming is quite large, the Ministry of Transportation will carry out traffic engineering management, one of which concerns restrictions on goods transportation which regulates the time for the implementation of operational restrictions on goods transportation on Toll Roads and Non-Toll Roads (National Roads) for homecoming flows. starting April 28 - May 1 2022 and backflow from May 6 - 9 2022," said the Director General of Land Transportation, Budi Setiyadi... As for the regulation of operational restrictions on the transportation of goods in question, namely for goods cars with a Permitted Total Weight (JBI) of more than 14,000 kg, goods cars with three or more axles, goods cars with attached trains, and trailers; and goods cars used to transport excavated materials including soil, sand and/or stone, mining materials, and building materials.
"Analog TV Stops Broadcasting May 1st, for Digital TV Buy Rp. 200,000 of Equipment" from Bali Express (Indonesian): Analog TV broadcasts will be turned off in 56 broadcast areas starting April 30, 2022. One of them is that the Province of Bali will implement this policy, as of May 1, 2022. On that occasion, switching to digital TV broadcasting would allow people to enjoy clearer television broadcasts. Besides that, it is sophisticated and of high quality. The commissioner of KPID Bali, Ida Bagus Agung Ketut Ludra, asked the public not to worry about replacing their tube tv with a new TV. Because according to tube TV owners, they only need to add a TV set top box (STB) to receive the broadcast. By using STB, people do not need to replace their analog TV. "People who still use tube TV don't have to worry, they don't have to change the TV, just replace the set top box," he added. He added, people get set top box tools at electronics shops. Prices vary from Rp. 200,000 to Rp. 300,000.

Once it is closed, we will be able to handle the waste independently," said Giri Prasta, Monday (25/4).
