"44 Foreign Citizens Netted in Health Prokes Raids in Bali, 10 People Fined Rp.1 Million" from iNews Bali (Indonesian): There are still many foreigners (WNA) who violate the health protocol (prokes) in Bali. The raid was held by a joint team on Jalan Batu Bolong, Canggu, North Kuta. Apart from Satpol PP, the raids involved the National Police and Immigration. Head of Bali Satpol PP, I Dewa Nyoman Rai Dharmadi, said of the 45 foreigners, ten who did not wear masks were subject to a fine of Rp1,000,000 on the spot. 31 foreigners received verbal warnings for not wearing masks properly, while three were given a summons because they could not pay the fines. 12 Indonesian citizens were also caught. Two were fined and ten were given a verbal warning.
"Ministry of Health Calls E484K Virus Findings in Jakarta the First Case in Indonesia" from Bali Puspa News (Indonesian): The Ministry of Health's Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Vaccination, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, who is also its Director of Prevention and Control of Vector Infectious and Zoonotic Diseases, said that the E484K specimen examination has been carried out in Indonesia since February 2021. The Ministry of Health is conducting case tracking to detect potential disease transmission. Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Wiku Adisasmito, said that screening efforts are made for the arrival of foreign nationals (WNA) and Indonesian citizens (WNI) to anticipate transmission of the E484K virus.
"The Number of [Domestic] Tourists to Bali on Easter Holidays 2021 Reaches Half of Pre-Pandemic Levels" from Kompas (Indonesian): Head of the Bali Tourism Office, Putu Astawa, said the level of domestic tourist visits before the pandemic was 16,000 a day. During the Easter 2021 holiday, average arrivals in Bali via I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was 8,000 people. According to data from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, the arrival of domestic passengers increased since March 31, namely 6,388 people. That number continued to increase on April 1 to 8,875 passengers, and again on April 2 to 8,497 passengers. It then decreased on April 3, to 4,140.

"Tropical Cyclone Seroja Has the Potential to Cause Bad Weather in Bali" from Bisnis Bali: The Center for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics or BMKG Region III Denpasar appealed to the people of Bali Province to be aware of the impact of the Seroja tropical cyclone which formed in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. Head of Data and Information Division of BMKG Region III Denpasar, Iman Faturahman, said that the impact of the tropical cyclone was in the form of strong winds and heavy rain, which resulted in waves reaching four meters high. "Someone Who Has Been Vaccinated Can Still Get Covid-19, Kadiskes Bali: So Don't Be Careless" from Tribun Bali (Indonesian): Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, Dr. Ketut Suarjaya, said, "This vaccine is not 100% protective. Therefore, health protocols must be maintained. [Those who have been vaccinated are] not 100% immune. Therefore, don't be careless, be disciplined in applying health protocols." The Provincial Government of Bali targets that vaccination activities will be completed in June. Currently, more than 400,000 Balinese have been injected with the Covid-19 vaccine.

This was conveyed in response to the large number of fake medical masks on the market, both online and offline. "To avoid the wrong choice of medical masks, health workers and the public should buy medical masks that already have a medical device distribution permit from the Ministry of Health, which can be accessed via infoalkes.kemkes.go.id," she said.
