"457 People Isolated In Tabanan" from Bali Puspa News (Indonesian): Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, 457 people have been monitored for the virus in Tabanan. All individuals are in isolation in their homes. The locations of the monitoried subjectes are as follows: Tabanan Subdistrict 119, Kerambitan 28, Penebel 52, Selemadeg 41, Selemadeg Timur 40, Selemadeg Barat 75, Pupuan 22, Baturiti 28, Kediri 33, and Marga 19. All of them are in good health.
"All Residents of Denbatas Village Under Quarantine" from Nusa Bali (Indonesian): After a single resident of Denbatas Village of Banjar Tuakilang in Tabanan was suspected of contracting COVID-19, all residents in the immediate vicinity have been placed into isolation. The person suspected of contracting the virus is health worker who was possibly exposed while on duty in one of Buleleng district's hospitals... There has been no confirmation of a positive test, though the worker had recently attended a funeral and as word spread among local residents, Banjar officials required that everybody in the neighborhood self isolate for 14 days to prevent any possible spreading.
"In Badung, Learning At Home Is Extended" from The Bali Post (Indonesian): The policy of keeping early childhood, elementary and junior high school students away from schools in Badung, which had been set to expire on March 30, has been extended indefinitely. The extension of study time at home was confirmed by the Badung Regency Government through the Badung Disdikpora letter number 420/2680 / Sekret / Disdikpora / 2020 on 27 March 2020... In the letter, parents are encouraged to advise their children to not leave the house, or to stay close to hime, and to not travel outside of their village. Teachers will continue to give lessions and monitor their students' progress remotely.
"Bali Decides to Cancel Unas 2020 and Waive Student Graduation Requirements" from Radar Bali (Indonesian): In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim has decided to cancel the national examination (Unas) to prevent the spread fo the virus. The cancellation was issued through a Circular Letter (SE) Minister of Education and Culture No: 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policy in the Emergency Period of the Corona Virus Disease (Covid) Spread and the Bali Province Regional Secretary Circular Letter No: 51 / Task Force Covid - 19 / III / 2020 regarding the Implementation of Education Policy... The letter stated that the implementation of the 2020 National Examination (Unas) was canceled, including the 2020 Competency Test (UKK) for Vocational High Schools. With the cancellation of Unas in 2020, Unas participation is not a requirement for graduation or higher education entrance selection.
"Kuta Beach Is Closed" from Nusa Bali (Indonesian): The entire stretch of Kuta Beach in Badung is closed to the public as of Friday, March 27 at 12.00pm in an effort to anticipate the spread of Covid-19... The Kuta Beach Security Force has installed fencing made of bamboo and wood in all access in and out of the beach, mobilizing dozens of staff to install them at all 40 of the beach's access points, including the main dead end and a number of shortcuts.
"Two Sterilization Chamber Rooms Available At Badung Market" from Bali Puspa News (Indonesian): After going through a sterilization process by manually spraying booths, the Badung Market has now been equipped with two disinfecting chambers. Starting on Saturday, March 28, visitors who want to enter the market are required to pass through the booth. In addition, motorists of two-wheeled vehicles and four-wheeled vehicles will be sprayed with disinfectant when taking parking tickets.

"More Foreign Tourists Leaving Than Arriving to Bali In March" from The Seminyak Times: Based on immigration records reported to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and released yesterday, from March 1 to March 26, 2020, the total foreigners entering Bali reached 169,074. The numbers of applications followed the issuance of The Directorate General of Immigration’s policy outlining approval for allowing foreign citizens to extend their stays in Bali due to forced conditions. The extension is valid only for foreigners who entered Indonesian territory after February 5, 2020.
"Fabric Craftsmen In Denpasar Switch to Mask Production" from BeritaBali.com (Indonesian): The scarcity of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), especially masks, has inspired the Denpasar City Embroidery, Endek and Songket Association (Asbest) be to encourage its members to take part in producing this personal protective equipment. As a result, an association of 50 SMEs in the city of Denpasar has succeeded in producing at least 150 masks per day... To reduce the burden on the community and ensure the availability of masks, the SMEs are producing masks made from cloth.
